A portable Claude skill that turns the model into a senior designer — grounded in real context, committed to a visual system, refusing to make AI-slop.
Claude Design ships a SKILL.md and a handful of on-demand references that Claude loads when your request sounds like design — "make a deck", "mock up a Linear-style dashboard", "design me something nice".
Once loaded, it rewires Claude's defaults. It forces fact verification before assumptions. It pushes for real brand assets — logo, product shots, UI screenshots. It proposes differentiated directions when the brief is vague.
When a specific product, version, or recent event is named, WebSearch comes first. A 10-second search beats 1–2 hours of rework on a wrong premise. Non-negotiable.
For branded work: ask → search → download → verify → freeze. Logo, product shots, and UI screenshots are first-class citizens. Colors and fonts are auxiliary — skipping the first three is how agents produce generic tech design.
When the brief is too vague to execute, propose three directions from a library of ten philosophies across five schools. Build a small preview. Ask the user to pick — then commit.
